Recommending My Own Writing While I’m Away On Vacation

Today is the first day of my much anticipated vacation! I’m busy running errands, packing up my car, and getting ready to go on this trip, so I don’t have a proper blog post today (those will resume in a little over a week, on July 1st). What I do have is a bit of information about what you’ll see over the next week!

Normally, I’d have written some flash fiction or poetry to share, since the former are relatively easy to produce and the I have enough of the latter on my blog that I can just reshare some of them, but I’m not posting any new creative writing of any kind to this website. I’m not giving that to the company that owns WordPress dot com just so they sell it to whatever garbage algorithm company decides they want to at least pretend they’re legitimate by buying the data from a host rather than continuing to steal or, say, by buying it from the prople who actually made it. Once I move my blog to another host that I trust not to steal my writing, I’ll go back to sharing that stuff. Whenever I have the time to make that happen, now that my domain renewal has come and gone…

Anyway! I’m going to suggest you check out a category of my blog posts each day, or call special attention to one of them, in an effort to share what I feel like are some of my more interesting but little noticed posts. For today, I’m going to suggest you check out my Critical Analysis category! There’s only three pieces in that category since I only made it last year, but I’m confident in those three pieces. I’m also pretty sure that I’ve got more than those three pieces of critical analysis on my blog, but I’m not about to go digging for something that I’ll probably not want to share anyway, since I feel like a lot of my less-recent writing isn’t up to snuff. I’d definitely recommend the post about Scavengers Reign, since I absolutely loved that show and it recently came to Netflix!

Other than that, I hope you have a great weekend and that you find something interesting to read while I’m away!
